"Sonesta Amirat Dahabeya Cruise"– Amirat was launched in February, 2009 – offers a River Nile cruise experience like no other on the Nile. It is intended to take you back in time to a gentler, more gracious era on the Nile during your 7 night cruise between Luxor and Aswan.

Facilities include 5 cabins and 2 suites, open air oriental-style Jacuzzi, spacious sundeck and stylish common lounge. All cabin accommodations are full board, and feature private direct-dial telephones, individual climate control, hairdryers, mini-bar, safe deposit boxes, plasma televisions and movie channels. The suites each offer a private terrace. Daily guided excursions are offered to renowned Egyptian temples, tombs and ruins along the Nile. As a member of the Sonesta fleet of deluxe-service Nile cruisers, this small cruise boat will combine comfort and beauty in an inspiring way, offering a spectacular opportunity for an extended family or small group to discover the Nile on a private cruise.

You will visit the West Bank for visits to the burial places of Pharaohs the Valley of the Kings - where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, the temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon
Sail on the way to Esna (noon time). Overnight near by Esna

Visit kom Ombo to see the ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the morning sun
A leisurely day sailing to Aswan and moored nearby Aswan bridge

Friday

Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902)
You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction

Saturday

Breakfast aboard the Dehabeya
Disembarkation with free time at leisure in Luxor and transfer to Luxor airport for your next destination

    Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price will not be changed.

  • Child Policy :

    Child rates apply to ages 6-12. Children aged 4 years and under are free of charge unless otherwise imposed by operating company of internal flights.

  • Visa to Egypt :

    Most nationalities require a full passport valid for 6 months after leaving Egypt and a visa which you can either obtain from your local Egyptian Embassy before your fly, or upon arrival at Cairo aiport for a cost of USD 15.

  • Deposit and Balance of Payment :

    A down payment (25%) will be required when confirming your booking as requested and can be paid by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard) via Verisign Secured payment system on our website. The balance of payment (75%) will be required on arrival / pick up, to be paid to your tour director by credit / debit card or in cash.

  • Tour Voucher :

    After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

  • Cancellation Policy :

    Memphis Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquake or and some reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens for your personal or business reasons and Memphis Tours have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
