We will be glad to pick you up from your hotel by air-conditioned modern van to the East Bank of Luxor, where you will be accompanied by your own Egyptologist tour guide to visit the famous Luxor Museum which display pottery, jewelry, furniture, statues and stelae were created by the Brooklyn Museum of New York.  They include a carefully selected assortment of items from the Theban temples and necropolis. Then the new extension of the building called the new kingdom which is dedicated to war machines featuring  Tut-Ankh-Amoun’s war chariot. Best of all there are also two royal mummies, that of Ahmosis I and what is believed to be that of Ramses I. Then continue your Luxor sightseeing tour to visit the majestic Mummification Museum which contains everything you would ever want to know about mummification. The ancient Egyptians believed that in order for a person to reach heaven it was essential that both their body and their name remained so their Soul would be transported from one life to the next. In order to achieve this, the mummification rituals were developed to preserve the body.   • Tour and Prices :

    Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound.The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price will not be changed.

  • Child Policy :

    Child rates apply to ages 6-12. Children aged 4 years and under are free of charge unless otherwise imposed by operating company of internal flights.

  • Deposit and Balance of Payment :

    A down payment (25%) will be required when confirming your booking as requested and can be paid by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard) via Verisign Secured payment system on our website. The balance of payment (75%) will be required on arrival / pick up, to be paid to your tour director by credit / debit card or in cash.

  • Tour Voucher :

    After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

  • Cancellation Policy :

    Memphis Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquake or and some reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens for your personal or business reasons and Memphis Tours have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
