Tour Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan and then you will be accompanied by our Egyptologist tour guide to enjoy a half day excursion by a traditional sailing boat (felucca) around the Kitchener Island which was used by the Nubians to settle in it and they called it Jet Narty. In the year of 1899 lord Kitchener take the island to be a place where his campaign can rest, and call it the lord's house. After his death, this island belonged to the ministry of agriculture. After that you will sail to Elephantine Island, the Island named Elephantine as it was a major ivory trading center or because the rocks on the island take the shape of the back of the elephant. The island is considered a natural boundary between Egypt and Nubian. After you finish your tour you will be escorted back to your hotel in Aswan.

    Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound.The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price will not be changed.

  • Child Policy :

    Child rates apply to ages 6-12. Children aged 4 years and under are free of charge unless otherwise imposed by operating company of internal flights.

  • Deposit and Balance of Payment :

    A down payment (25%) will be required when confirming your booking as requested and can be paid by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard) via Verisign Secured payment system on our website. The balance of payment (75%) will be required on arrival / pick up, to be paid to your tour director by credit / debit card or in cash.

  • Tour Voucher :

    After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

  • Cancellation Policy :

    Memphis Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquake or and some reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens for your personal or business reasons and Memphis Tours have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
