After your departure at Cairo International Airport you will be introduced to your tour leader for the trip, who will accompany you to your hotel for check-in and a free welcome drink. He will explain what to expect on your visit. Your Tour Leader will be your point of contact throughout the whole trip, and will give you details of how to contact him at any time whilst in Egypt under the care of Memphis Tours. Throughout your holiday, in addition to the Tour Leader you will meet a variety of English-speaking tour guides, who have been chosen for their expertise on each of the areas you are visiting. After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.
Welcome Drink
After breakfast, your guide will collect you for a full day visiting the famous pyramids in the area. We begin with Djoser's Step Pyramid at Saqqara, which is the first pyramid built in Egypt and was designed by Imhotep. It is at Saqqara where the first spells for the Pharaoh's afterlife were found. Whilst there, you will also see Teti's pyramid and several ancient tombs. After Saqqara you will travel to Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt, to visit the colossal statue of Ramesses II and a temple dedicated to Hathor which is still half-buried. From Memphis you drive to the famous Giza Plateau to visit the only remaining wonder from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Khufu (called Cheops by the Ancient Greeks). Also on the plateau are the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smaller one of Menkaure (Mykerinos). The plateau is as famous for the mysterious structure 'the Sphinx' as it is for the pyramids, where you will visit the Valley Temple. Your visit to Giza will include enough time to do the optional visit to the solar boat, which was the vessel used to carry the Pharaoh’s mummy across the Nile, before being buried at the foot of the pyramid for use in his afterlife. After Giza, you will be transferred back to your hotel for a peaceful overnight stay in Cairo.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and then you will be accompanied by your private egyptologist tour guide to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddess, with option visit to the mummies room at the Egyptian Museum where you may learn about the Great Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt. Then you will also visit the Citadel of Saladin that is overlooking the city from the Muqattam Hills and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside that was built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey and simply considered to be one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of old Cairo then visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the hanging church or the suspended church this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the center of the Christian Church of Egypt you will visit also the famous Jewish heritage in Cairo including Ben Ezra Synagogue the temple contains a Jewish heritage library, containing documents found here in 1896 that describe the economic and social conditions of Jews under Arab rule as well as descriptions of relations between various Jewish sects from there you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Aswan and then you will be accompanied by your private tour guide for an optional excursion to Abu Simbel temples (Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions) to see the magnificence of these temples. They are undisputedly one of the world's most breathtaking monuments, and Egypt’s second most visited touristic site (the Pyramids of Giza being on the top of the list) the most remarkable feature of the temple of Abu-Simbel is that the construction is oriented in a way that twice a year, the morning sun rays shine through the length of the inner temple cave and illuminate the statues of the four gods seated at the end of the cave. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel for a peaceful over night stay in Aswan

Breakfast and then you will be transferred to embark your Nile cruise ship. Later you will be taken in an exciting tour to the world famous High Dam that was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops; continue to the granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. The quarries still hold the famous Unfinished Obelisk and then you will be taking by motor-boat to island of Egilka visit the majestic Philae temple that was dedicated to the Goddesses Isis. Return to the Nile Cruise ship in Aswan free time at leisure and overnight stay.

Sail to Kom Ombo. After breakfast will be accompanied by your English speaking guide to visit Kom Ombo temple, the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world, lunch aboard your cruise with free time at le isure whilst sailing to Edfu to explore Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples on the Nile Continue the cruise down the Nile to Esna. Afternoon tea is served on the sun –deck with dinner and overnight stay onboard cruise.

Breakfast on board the cruise during sailing to Luxor, and then you will be taken into the West bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs. Continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. Continue your Luxor sightseeing tour to visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars .Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun.

Enjoy breakfast at your on board your Nile cruise Luxor before disembarkation from the Nile cruise, then you will be transferred to your Luxor airport to fly to Sharm, where you will be met and assisted and transferred to your hotel in Dahab for check into the hotel with free time at leisure and overnight stay.

The Monastery of St. Catherine lies at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses, in the heart of the South Sinai. Fronted by gardens and cypress trees, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its rich library houses one of the world's largest collections of illuminated manuscripts, coming second only to the Vatican. You can see where the Burning Bush is reputed to have grown and a large number of antique works of art including invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors, exquisite wall paintings and other fine religious ornaments. Overnight in Dahab.

Breakfast at your hotel in Amman, then you will be transferred towards north to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Continuing your Jordan tour to visit Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, the Temple of Artemis, fountains and its city walls pierced by towers and gates. Thenmove to Ajloun Castle. It was built by Izz Al-Din Usama, one of Salah Al-Din's generals in 1184 AD. Back to your hotel in Amman to overnight.

Breakfast, then drive to the town Madaba, where you find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. Afterward we drive to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where you have leisure time and the chance to float on water and then you will be transferred back to Amman for free time at leisure and overnight at your hotel in Amman.

After breakfast drive 2.5 hours to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. On horseback or by foot reach the canyon, the so called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Afterwards we drive back to Amman for overnight.
