Morning time you will be picked up from your cruise at Alexandria Port by your private English speaking Egyptologist guide who will accompany you to Sakkara  that is part of Memphis's massive necropolis, and the burial site of the most ancient Pharaohs where you will see the first pyramids ever built in Egypt "Step Pyramid of King Djoser that was designed by Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect, also you will visit some tombs which belongs to the high officals of Ti and Mereruca. Lunch will be served at good quality local restaurant. Continue the tour to Dahshure Bent pyramid & Red pyramids which were founded by King Snefru – the founder of the Old Kingdom. Both Pyramids the Bent & the Red create the link between the Step Pyramid at Sakkara and the Pyramids of Giza. Then you meet the buggies and start self driving in the desert around the pyramids. What an exciting way to view the ancient wonders. These custom buggies are capable of whisking over the dunes at speeds over 50 mph. Finally you will be escorted by your guide back to the cruise in Alexandria Port : departure time from Cairo depends on the departure  time of your ship at Alexandria Port.

  • Tour and Prices :

    Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound.The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price will not be changed.

  • Child Policy :

    Child rates apply to ages 6-12. Children aged 4 years and under are free of charge unless otherwise imposed by operating company of internal flights.

  • Deposit and Balance of Payment :

    A down payment (25%) will be required when confirming your booking as requested and can be paid by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard) via Verisign Secured payment system on our website. The balance of payment (75%) will be required on arrival / pick up, to be paid to your tour director by credit / debit card or in cash.

  • Tour Voucher :

    After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

  • Cancellation Policy :

    Memphis Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions cancelled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquake or and some reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens for your personal or business reasons and Memphis Tours have already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
